Anti-fracking protestors blockaded the entrances to DEFRA and the offices of IGas in a national day of action. At the DEFRA offices protestors locked themselves to each other and superglued themselves to the doorstep and another protestor scaled scaffolding at the front of the building. Reclaim The Power lock on protestor Will said "Fracking is extreme and supergluing is nothing by comparrision. Its the first time Ive done anything like this but Ive felt so compelled the more Ive heard. Its a really frightening propect."  Reclaim The Power spokesperson Melanie Strickland said "Fracking is going to lock us into high carbon infrastructure for decades and we are going to crash our climate targets and its going to prevent us from transitioning to a renewable energy system which we desperately need."
