Protestors shut down the Elbit subsidiary factory in Broadstairs. The demonstrators occupied the rooftop and premises of the Instro factory which makes components for the Israeli arms company drones. One protestor locked himself to the factory gates by the neck. Speaking from the rooftop via a mobile phone one protestor said that as a local she was horrified to discover drones were being made in Broadstairs. The protest was part of a day of action to mark the one year anniversary of the 2014 Gaza war. HD Footage. © Jason N. Parkinson/reportdigital.co.uk
