Coachella Valley, California. memorial to two palmeros killed when the platform they were working on came into contact with an electric power line. The crane was leaking oil and one worker was electrocuted while the other burned to death. Both were Mexican immigrants. Marchers protested at discrimination against immigrants, unions and the rights of workers, and called on Congress to pass a just immigration reform.
