Tens of thousands march through London in the international day of action action Climate Change. Protests manifested in 40 major cities across the world. The main protest was in New York where the international Climate summit is due to open at the United Nations building on 23 September. Protest Sue Milner said: "There have been so many summits about the environment. I have been on so many marches. So very little has happened that is positive. I can use renewable energy and all that sort of thing but at the end of the day if policy isn't being changed then we have to send a message not only to politicians but also everyone else out there that you know this is a real problem.
